Pergamońska Library
- the largest in the ancient Librar y of Alexandria KsiÄ…ĹĽnica in Pergamum. It was founded by King A ttalos I Soter in the 2 mid-third century BC in Asia Minor as a w orkshop for artists and scholars gathering at the court. A magnif icent edifice built library Eumenes II. Excavations revealed the ruins of the library by Carl Humann in 1878. Library occupied four rooms, including one was probably the scriptorium. Library does not have the reading room (then recited the text of the custom of strolling around the porch).
